I learned android doing online tutorials on udemy, udacity, etc. I think the problem(and what I need to work on) is I don't know whats really out there(frameworks, libraries, etc). Like when you search how to do something in android, it gives you like 10 possible solutions which are popular. But without someone, is there any advice you could give me?(I don't want to keep asking basic questions on forums, feels like I'm wasting peoples time) and googling to find the right framework to use for a specific task is not always easy to do. I'm working by myself and I feel not having guidance really hurts sometimes.Īll I need is someone to point me in the right direction and I'll go learn it. If you had told me this in the morning when I first started, i could avoided countless hours wasted. However there was a way better alternative out there(I just didn't think to look). Do you have any general advice for beginners who don't want waste time trying to learn incorrect things?įor example like i said in my post I tried making Unirest work in android for like the entire day because thats what said to use for java/android.
